1. Games:
All
games have a running clock. Will
start promptly at designated time or earlier. Teams must be at the complex at
least 30 minutes before game time. Teams must get off the field immediately when
finished.
2. Substitution:
Unlimited
and on the fly. Player substituted for must be out of the play.
3. Equipment:
Players
must wear shin guards, indoor soccer shoes or sneakers. NO CLEATS.
4. Offsides and tackles:
The
offside rule will not be used. Slide tackles are not allowed and will result in
an indirect kick for the opposing team. at point of infraction.
5. Goal kicks and goalie passes:
The
ball must touch the defensive half of the field before going into the offensive
half of the field. Rule also applies when goalie is throwing the ball. The
goalie becomes a field player outside the box. No punting or drop kicks are
allowed. A violation of this rule results in an indirect kick from anywhere on
the midfield line for the other team.
6. Free Kicks:
All
free kicks will be indirect except
penalty kicks (taken from outside the 18 yd line. All free kicks must have 10’
clearance.
7. Throw ins:
With
hands in youth leagues. Kick-ins in HS leagues.
8. Corner Kicks:
As
per FIFA.
9. Goalie play:
Goalie
may not touch the ball with his hands
on kick backs.
10. Field of play:
If
the ball hits the lights or ceiling, a free kick will be awarded to the other
team
11.
Injury Time:
Time is a running clock.
12. Team field Position:
U-11
and under: each team picks a corner behind its own goal / U-12
and Above: both coaches and players on “stands” side of field.
Only coaches and players allowed
on the arena floor.
13. Conduct:
Coaches are responsible for their own conduct as well as the conduct of their players and spectators. Red cards: must sit minimum 1 game.
Where it applies:
Fighting
will not be tolerated and may result in team suspension or expulsion from all
remaining games! At the discretion of the referee: Yellow card= 2 minute
suspension without substitution.
Red
card=1 game suspension plus review by Soccer Palace management, if necessary.
Grace periods:
Ten minute grace period allowed. Thereafter a 3-0 loss. Games will start at scheduled times or up to 30 minutes
early. If team is not ready, playing time will be decreased.
14 Standings: W= 3 pts, T= 1 pt, L= 0 pt
15. Tie Breakers:

If game ends in a tie in playoff or championship match, winner will be
determined with one or three penalty kicks (at the
discretion of tournament director)
General
notes:
NO protests will be heard.
NO Pets are allowed.
NO SMOKING in the building.
NO outside Food permitted. Individual water bottles or drinks are permitted. NO Snacks on the field. You must clean up your area after each game.
NO
alcoholic beverages on property.
Arrive
30 Minutes before your game to check-in.
In
the event of a color conflict, the home team will change (listed first on
schedule). Bring two sets of jerseys.

Parking:
Allowed in designated “soccer parking”. Do not park in fire lanes or
front of building. There is a dedicated soccer parking area as you drive in on
the right side of the driveway. DO NOT
PARK ON HELICOPTER PAD.!
Inclement weather: Regardless of weather conditions, Soccer Palace will be open for business. Failure to appear will result in forfeiture of game/tournament/league game and forfeiture of associated entry fees for that specific day or time period.
All
league matches will be played in accordance with the “Laws of the Game” as
issued by FIFA, unless modified herein.
